The Academy of Maharashtra Research, Upliftment and Training (AMRUT) is an autonomous organization established by the Government of Maharashtra in 2019. Its primary objective is to provide assistance to people from economically weaker sections belonging to the open category, who do not receive benefits from any government departments or organizations ¹.

– _Impart skills development and capacity building trainings_ for self-employment, entrepreneurship development, and employment generation.
– _Provide basic skill and personality development trainings_ for self-employment and employability.
– _Offer promotional and financial assistance_ for undertaking basic and advanced training courses in computer skills, industrial trainings, and more.
– _Support new entrepreneurs_ through incubation centers.

AMRUT has partnered with the Center for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) to offer free PG diploma courses to eligible students from economically weaker sections ².
